Re-stretching before you replace
If your carpet is only a few years old and it has gone wavy or rippled, you may not need new carpet at all. Ripples usually mean the carpet was never power stretched properly when it went in, and a re-stretch costs a small fraction of replacing it. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Sourcing your carpet
If you have a color or a brand in mind, tell us and we will check what our suppliers can do. We pass our contractor pricing along, and on carpet that often saves 10 percent or more against the big box price on the same roll.
Pad matters more than people think
Cheap pad will make a good carpet feel cheap and it will wear out from underneath. We will show you the difference and what it costs to step up, and then it is your call. It is usually a small number on the total and it changes how the floor feels every day.
